David Cameron is away and every day the Lib Dem’s display outwardly their obvious insuitability for the business of government, lack of principles and just greed for power.

Simon Hughes, Deputy Leader of the Lib Dem’s, now says the Lib Dem’s should be able to veto parts of coalition policy they disagree with but Simon that’s not what government is about, what you are suggesting is the government of chaos which is the norm in most other coalition governments, particularly those brought about by PR.

We had to bail them out because of their greed for bonuses and profits and are still the major shareholders but they won’t lend at commercial rates, are reluctant to lend to businesses, charge sky-high arrangement fees if they do decide to lend and interest rates are higher than ever. (more…)

One thing, everyone seems to think Europe is now a level playing field, let me tell you it is not!

I work within the transport industry and just for example heavy haulage, apart from cheaper diesel abroad the maintenance requirements on say a trailer are 1 x MOT and 1 x service whilst in the UK it is 1 x MOT and service/inspections are every 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks with an average being 8 weekly, an enormous cost penalty when in competition with European hauliers.

We are in a whole new world order, we have been through recession before but never, in my life time, through a period where the banks don’t have any money!

Also, a little thing which is nagging at me, back around the end of 2006 the Royal Bank of Scotland went to their shareholders for a £12 Billion cash call rights issue, are we really expected to believe that Goodwin and his senior management team didn’t know about the state of the business at that time because if they didn’t that is gross incompetence!

If they did know then that is shareholder fraud, why are they not they in jail because I would be!
